The Sista Collective
Through this dynamic project, we aim to provide support and resources to female entrepreneurs and professionals in the community while also offering mentorship opportunities for young people. With a focus on sisterhood, innovation, service, tenacity, and achievement, this program is designed to create a multigenerational network of support to create a culture of empowerment and collaboration that will benefit the entire Beloit community.
Inspirations
Inspirations serves as a vital evangelistic outreach tool, established to inspire creativity and artistic expressions through classes, workshops, recreational activities, and social interactions. We provide access to equipment and exposure to combinations of traditional teaching methods, modern tools, and technology in a group-based setting.
Next Stop: College
We offer our students the opportunity to visit colleges that are more than 300 miles away either individually, or in small groups, so that they can receive an enhanced awareness of the academic programs, entrance requirements, career opportunities, financial resources, social and emotional support mechanisms offered by their college of choice, relieving the anxiety of leaving home and creating the confidence to be successful and independent college students.
For the Culture
When it comes to Black Culture, there is so much to learn outside of the classroom. Much of it, they refuse to teach. This program puts you in touch with cultural experiences through workshops, guest speakers, hands-on activities, and field trips all dedicated to celebrating the culture.
DreamWorks
DreamWorks is Virtuoso’s Mind Inc.’s career exploration project designed to help youth discover who they are, what they’re good at, and what futures are possible for them. Through hands-on activities, mentorship, and real-world skill building, students explore multiple career pathways in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and relevant to their lives. DreamWorks empowers young people to connect their interests to opportunities, develop practical workplace and life skills, and begin building a clear, confident vision for their next steps.
